Simon Lerner is a young and established entrepreneur, stock and real estate trader who has, through NetCon, successfully brought together a large community of teachers and learners looking to impart and imbibe financial knowledge and information.
Having made seven figures in the stock market, Simon is the perfect person to talk about the markets. In a brief discussion with Simon, we asked him about his experience in the realm and what NetCon aims to be.
Below is an excerpt from the same conversation:
How would you describe your general experience in the market?
One word – difficult. But so worth it. I have come to know that trading requires a lot of character and you need the ability to show up everyday. I have persisted and remained unwavering in my objective of reaping benefits from the market and have gone all out. The efforts and consistent learnings have paid off and made everything extremely rewarding.
When did you first come up with the idea of NetCon?
Financial literacy in today’s world is in a very unfortunate state. When I started making steady profits, I decided to set up NetCon and build a community so that people who are setting foot in the market have some sort of safe space where they are guided by real-life experiences of experts and the knowledge that they have to offer. When it comes to learning how to trade, there is an extremely long and painful learning curve – the goal is provide people with proper education and helto empower people to make their financial decisions smartly.
What makes NetCon special?
The fact that we don’t give out trade calls and signals. The fact that I and my team have made it a point to let people know that learning and making money out of the market is a process that we can only shorten but not eliminate all together. We are building responsible and self-reliant investors who are equipped with the necessary, valid information to make their own choices and decisions.
